DIFFERENT KINDS OF TALENT

There are many kinds of talents.
Something common such as singing is a great talent. Another talent are being able to play an instrument or being able to put your legs behind your head.If we will talk about classical talent there are many, like Hawaiian Entertainment, Live Music, Disc Jockeys, Dancers, Jugglers, Stilt Walkers, Unicyclists, Tightrope Walkers, Clowns, Face Painters, Tattoo Artist, Belly Dancers, Caricature Artists ,Impersonators, Tarot Readers, Palm Readers, Mimes, Story Tellers ,Circus Acts, Comedians,Magicians, Hypnotists, Holiday Characters, Singing Telegrams,...and More.
But I have here a list of the different talents that I’m interested at:

1.      Dancing
2.      Singing
3.      Acting
4.      Cooking
5.      Painting
6.      Playing musical instrument (guitar)

DO YOU KNOW THAT THERE ARE FOUR TYPES OF TALENT?

I’ve classified “talent” into four categories. These are differences in type more than degree of talent, as all types are equally capable of acquiring high levels of skill and making new contributions to fields:

Talent with formal education– a talent that manifests with exposure to formal education. A student excelling well beyond his peers in a specific field may easily have this type of talent.

Talent with self-education–talent that manifests with education, say, by voracious reading. When a scientist picks up the works of a previous scientist on his own and goes on to perform great things in the same field, it is this form of talent that is being expressed.

Talent without education – talent that is present within an individual before any significant instruction is given. This form of talent often manifests as intuitive insight into the workings of a field, and may be difficult to express. Education may not necessarily be harmful, but it isn’t really necessary.

Talent, formal education contraindicated – people with this form of talent excel because they think of concepts in unusual ways. The thoughts of people with this talent are unconventional enough that attempting to reconcile them with conventional practice in a field through formal education may very well result in the loss of this talent altogether.

These are not necessarily distinct categories, and it is possible to be talented in one subject in one way and talented in a different subject in another way (of course). For example, my eldest sister may be talented with both formal and self-education in producing widgets, while my brother might be talented with education in producing widgets but talented without education in music.

Talents that require education tend to result in more thorough and complete work, but do generally take more time and effort to develop than those that do not. The person who creates (i.e., choreographs) a dance is known as the choreographer.

WHAT IS THE DIFFERENCE BETWEEN TALENT AND SKILLS?

For me, a talented person is a gifted person.Talent is usually an innate ability to do something and it is the natural aspect that needs a little nudge to realize. While skills is a learned ability to do something and it requires investment of a lot of time. Talent occurs in a few people while a whole multitude can have a skill to do something.

Your talent dictates your moment-by-moment reactions to your environment -- there's instinctiveness, immediacy implied. Talent results in consistently recurring patterns of thought or behaviour. To deviate from those patterns requires conscious effort, and such deviations are difficult to sustain.

Knowledge and skills, on the other hand, imply learned behaviour, actions that require more active cognitive processing. What you know reveals more about your experiences and education than about who you are at the core. Behaviour derived from knowledge and skills can be changed far more easily than talent-based behaviour, as new information subordinates old in an individual's consciousness.

Talent can't be subordinated. It's constant and enduring. That's what makes it talent. Understanding the difference between the two sources of behaviourchanges everything.

DO YOU HAVE A TALENT?

Do you have a talent?Because me, I’m always asking that to myself, but until now I’m still finding the answer. Most people have heard of talent, and some people may believe they have talent, but narrowing down a list of talents and defining talent might be difficult for many people. What does talent really mean?

Talent is the unusual natural ability or power of a person. It is a small little thing inside you that is hidden, that if you give importance to it and pay attention to it then it’ll become an impressive, awesome, and fabulous talent. You just have to develop it.If someone has talent they still have to work very hard if they want to be very good at something. Some people become quite good at something even if they do not have much talent, cause they are willing to work very hard at the skill. Just like drawing, one has to get some information’s and practice their skills so that they will gain knowledge and learn more techniques in that field. Some people “waste their talent” they have talent but do not work hard at it; they do not “use their talent”. They do not realize the importance of their talent because they don’t know its value. Why don't other people see the gift that they have? Because all people have some talent, and there are some that have many, but the important thing is to identify and develop talent that is in them and share it with the world.
